Witney Houston’s mother to release gospel E.P
Cissy Houston plans to release her first recording in more than a decade.
She has kept a low profile since the death of her daughter but now she’s going to let her music do the talking.
The gospel E.P “Walk on By Faith” was released by Harlem Records on iTunes this week and includes four songs arranged by Cissy; “The House”, “Walk on by Faith”,”It’s in My Heart”and“Living Shall Not Be in Vain“.
Harlem Records, was founded by the creator of” Mama, I Want to Sing” Vy Higginsen. Says Higginsen of the recording, “I wanted to capture the authentic, unique sound of one of the greatest singers of all time, Cissy’s voice and lyrics have the power to heal and touch all people. I am renewed and inspired by Cissy’s courage and faith, and find comfort in her message.”
Its pretty obvious where Whitney‘s voice came from when you listen to Cissy.

It has been way too long for this woman’s voice to be gone from the music scene. What a great talent!
