Amy Winehouse’s parents to receive all of her $3 million fortune
Amy Winehouse left a $3 million fortune – but not a cent will go to her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The 27-year-old singer had over $3mil in assets when she died following an alcohol binge last July.
She did not leave a will, so the $2,944,554 remaining after tax and bills goes to her parents, Mitch and Janis, probate documents show.
It means Fielder-Civil, 29 – blamed by Mitch Winehouse for introducing his daughter to heroin and cocaine – will not get any of Winehouse’s estate.
A friend of the late star said, ”Had she made a will, Blake may have well been left something – not cash, perhaps an investment. Amy still loved him when she died.”
The former couple married in May 2007 and divorced in July 2009.
The source added, ”The way things are, Mitch and Janis have been handed the estate. They’re sensible and shrewd, so it’s probably for the best Blake doesn’t get anything.”
After finding fame, Winehouse was estimated to be worth $10 million – raising questions about what happened to all her cash.
