Eminem, Jay-Z teaming up for pair of September shows in the US

The titans of the hip-hop world will play the first concert at the new Yankee Stadium in New York on September 13.

The pair will also be on stage together 11 days earlier, at Detroit’s Comerica Park.

Jay-Z is a New Yorker whose recent NY-centric anthem, Empire State of Mind, was a big hit. Comerica Park is Eminem’s home town stadium.

The pair announced their joint performances during appearances on several TV broadcasts of tonight’s New York-Detroit baseball game at Comerica Park (local time).
